My Oh My!

This is the last of my holiday weekday...

Attention all teachers...
You have officially 2 days left to enjoy. Make full use of the weekend before you return to the kiddies' untidy books, hair-pulling lesson plans, fire-breathing higher authorities, vomit-inducing jitters before facing your worst class, lengthy hours in front of computers till you go cross-eyed and what have you.

That reminds me, I have yet to do my lesson plans. Bummer!

To those who are still bumming around, waiting for school to start, do treasure the time you have in school and don't be too eager to take on that job you've always wanted. One, it might not EVEN be the job of your dreams when you find out about the long hours, the paycheck equivalent to the size of a pea and colleagues who are more irritating than a weggie. Two, there isn't even a guarantee that you can get the job! With the economic uncertainty and all..

Negative? I'm not.
Pessimist? Far from it.
Kids, I'm just preparing you for the real dog-eat-dog world.
