News Flash!

There was a snake in my school!!!

Urgh! But kinda cool.

I came to school all blurry this morning (as usual) at 7.30am and was greeted by the school attendant askin me if I want a snake. I was like, "Huh? What snake?"

Then I saw some male teachers, 2 policemen and a policewoman standing at the garden in front of the staff room. They were armed with poles and sack, and were ready for any action the snake could give. Me? What else? Kepo also lah. Joined a few teachers and stood there, trying to catch the drama. Got to know that a few dead rats were spotted at the garden and behind the dumping area. And now the snake is seen in the pond. Apparently, a fish jumped out of the pond to save its life I guess. How ironic. And to think that just yesterday, all the teachers were at the garden, taking a group photo. How lucky were we!

So anyway, didn't wanna waste my time waiting, I thought I should get back into the staff room to do my work.

Then it happened. I heard a commotion outside and the snake was caught. When I got outside, they were trying to put the python into the sack. (Yes, it was A python. And it was huge I tell ya!) It gave a good fight and the policemen and the teachers were struggling to stuff it into the bag. The mouth was wide open and the body was coiled up.

Then, in one swift motion, the python bit one of our teachers on the arm! I think he stood too close to the head. So he was bleeding all over and another teacher had to drive him to the nearest 24hr clinic. Well, he's ok now, all smiley and laughing.

But what a start of the day it was! All the DRAMA, the ACTION, the SUSPENSE! I liiikke!!
