Prezzies Galore!!
Wah... My first official Teacher's Day. So many prezents... I feel so fofular! But I've yet to open any of 'em. Juz stuffed 'em into my paperbags. So sweet of 'em. Kena scolding like what also, still give prezent. Although I know that some of them are recycled 'jemputan kahwin nyer berkat', it's the thought that counts.One of my P1 kid, gave me a present, then happily disclosed it's a tudung. Aper daa..But actually the real present on that day is that my old kids came back. Seeing them after 2 yrs, all grown up and taller, just makes my day. Some were surprised to see me. They didn't expect I would come back to teach since I left 2 yrs ago. Neither did I. Did my contract teaching here and was pleasantly shocked to be posted here after NIE. I'm still sad tho'. I'm hoping that one of my student will come back. I taught him at P6EM3 in 2003. He got dyslexia. A learning disability. Even so, he was my favourite coz he is so well-behaved and willing to learn. But becoz of his condition, he just couldn't make it thru PSLE. He had to repeat twice. This yr, he's still in P6 but have been transferred to a school nearer his place, in Yishun. What I heard from the teachers here is that, he has changed a lot in that 2 yrs. He mixed with the wrong company, he lied to get money and he is not interested in studies anymore. I wanna see him for myself. I need to talk to him. I wanna know why he changed so much. It's a real pity. So any teachers who knows this 14-yr-old boy, in P6EM3, studying in a school in Yishun area, pls let me know.So anyway... today is Teachers' Day Dinner. Guess where it's held? In my dilapidated school lah.... Wow wee junior juice! Other people have theirs in a hotel, on a cruise ship.. But mine! In this rats and roach-infested kampong! Tahun terakhir kat sini lah kononnya... Malas betol nak pegi... Oh! Tiba-tiba kepala beta terasa pening. Apakah tandanya ini?? Oh! *dengan penuh drama*
