Dikir Barat Blues!
So little time, so much to do.I'm supposed to be in charge of this dikir barat performance by my P6EM3s for the upcoming Hari Raya concert and till now I've not done any practice wif the kids. How to??? So busy. Last week, no school due to the PSLE Marking. So left wif this week to practice. Actually there's still next week but with the Deepavali and Hari Raya hols, I doubt there will be full attendance.The 'Malay Head' has been askin me bout it and I'm so pressured. I dono any dikir barat steps at all. I used to LOVE dikir a lot. Btw, I'm just an audience, not a performer. And I love it for the art, not the boys. I swear. Coz I find that they are so the mat-mats. So now I'm trying hard to recall the steps. So far I've only managed to squeeze ONE out of my system. Jus ONE miserable step. Habislah aku... The rest is all up to me to pandai-pandai reka sendiri. I just hope they don end up like baduts on the stage. I have to conjure up something, anything within this week.
