My 1st Ramadhan wif Mr. K
Some Historical Events happenin...Number 1:Had my 1st sahur wif my Mr. K. Rice and fish curry - tapao-ed from QC (Queens Close) mommy yesternite.Don't you ever think that I'm a useless working wife who doesn't know how to cook and forever procrastinating in improving her not-so-there culinary skills. Firstly, it's just that Mommy is always inviting us to eat at her place and offering food to be tapao-ed home. Secondly, hubby is too caring. So caring that he doesn't want me to tire myself out after a long day at work. Coz cooking is not juz cooking you know. There's the preparing, the actual cooking and the cleaning up to do. (Actually he juz doesn't want me mess up the whole house, being the Mr Perfectionist he is.) And thirdly, my hubby and I find it a waste of time and effort to be preparing so much for a 2-person meal. Not such a good idea. So much variety outside. So why juz settle for dishes that this 'only-know-how-to-cook-three-dishes' wife can prepare. Yup. So ladies, knowing how to cook at least 7 dishes will come in handy before you get married. One for each day of the week. But I always say, It's Not the Quantity, It's the QUALITY.Number 2:My baby is going thru his/her 1st fast today. Let's hope it doesn't make a fuss in there due to the sudden shortage of food. But my baby's cool. So far it's not making any major movements. Well, I can't differentiate! I don't know if it's my stomach rumbling or it's the baby. But i think my baby's the lepak kind. Rilek one corner ah beb...So enough of the NOT-so-historic Historical Events.I slipped yesterday. Hurt my ankles. Now walking wif a slight limp. What a bummer! And then tried to blame it on hubby. Abeh sakit hati sendiri, abeh tu nangis. Wa piang... I can't stand myself. Such a wuss. Looking on the positive side, lucky I managed to balance myself in time. Didn't fall on my butt or anything. So mummy and baby A-OK!
