2005, It's Been A Great Pleasure Having You!

Can you smel it people? *takes a long deep breath*
Can you? Can you?

2006 is here!!!

So long 2005... But wat a year that has been. So many big happenings... It's been a fruitful year wif events that have made big impacts on my life. The jist of it being the changes in my status. From singlehood, to being a wife, at the same time a daughter-in-law and then mom-to-be.

Here's a breakdown of what has happened in 2005:

=JANUARY=
1. Got married at the start of the New Year!
2. Trip 1 - Destination: Kuala Lumpur

=February=
3. 1st birthday as a wifey. Mr K got me a watch.
Nothing really significant happened here. Busy with school and NIE practicum.

=March=
Again, not a very happening month. Slogging thru my NIE practicum.

=April=
4. End of practicum, Start of Exams!
5. Mr K's 1st birthday as a hubby. Can't recall what I got him pulak. Pardon my peanut-sized memory.

=May=
6. School posting! Got me into a school with kecoh people, people I am familiar with and people I enjoy workin with.
7. 1st day @ school... as a teacher, that is.

=June=
Most happening month.
8. GRADUATED FROM NIE!!! Officially start thinkin like a teacher. Officially start work as a teacher.
9. PTPS Staff Retreat - Changi Village Hotel
10. Trip 2 - Destination: Pulau Tioman
11. Trip 3 - Destination: Pulau Sibu
12. Investiture Ceremony... Wore the gown and stuff. So proud. Parents also proud. Everybody proud. Actually nothin to be so proud of lah. No mortarboard. Is it right? Mortarboard? Alah.. the flat hat with the dangling thingie..

=July=
13. Got the news that I'm gonna be a MOM!!! And Mr K's gonna be a DAD!! Alhamdulillah... Best news ever..
14. Saw my baby for the 1st time.. as a foetus.

=August=
Nothin much. Busy week. Prelims n PSLE Oral n stuff.
15. Except for this: We Bought a New Car!!

=September=
16. Felt baby's 1st move. Excited schmited.
17. 1st Teacher's Day. Dinner was a bit crappy tho'.

=October=
Really busy month for teachers.
18. Children's Day celebration.
19. PSLE
20. PSLE Marking. Made great bunch of frens there. Time passed really fast even tho we were bored to death.
21. Exam period for the rest of the kiddies.
22. Had an accident 3 days prior to Hari Raya on the highway on our way back fr hari raya shopping at Geylang. Alhamdulillah baby n Mommy n Daddy are safe. Only a dent on the car n our pockets. Scary one there if you think of the worst that can happen.

=November=
23. Got back the car after repairs. Jus in time for 1st Hari Raya as a wifey, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law and mommy-to-be.
24. Knew the gender of my baby!!
25. Release of PSLE results. Felt a great satisfaction of being a teacher.
26. Gathering with the Crescent bunch.
27. Meet up wif Ain (at long, long last!)

=December=
28. Trip 4 - Destination: Melbourne Australia!
29. 1st New Year's Eve wif Mr K. Lookin forward for what 2006 can offer us.

So there you go.
