The One At the BORING Pool

We went to the Queenstown Pool on that Saturday. It was such a boring pool. No slides no nothing. Just plain rectangular pool with a few kiddos somewhat waddling or threading or swimming or something.

As soon as Daanish went into the water, there's this girl menyebok offered to play with Daanish in the pool. She was all over him. Carrying him, holding his hands, splashing water. She left no breathing space for my boy.

Hello girl, I know lah my boy very irresistable one.. Charming smile, with wet barely-there hair, and smothering good looks. But leave us alone why doncha?

She was even there when I wanted to take a pic of Daanish. I cut her off.

There, dat's her on the left. Do you see that Daanish was trying to push her away? Pest!

Eventually she went away. After much ignoring from us.

So then, the pool was only for Daanish.

However, not long after that, he got bored with the shallow waters. No challenge.

And so we plunged him into the deep sea. Daring lah my boy.

He went home smashed tired and stomach full of chlorine water.

I think he very much preferred the newly opened Jurong West pool. Nenek brought him there the other time.

Whatever it is, there're more swimming sessions to come, Daanish. Mama's got 2 more months left and Mama's sure to make full use of it.
